Mincha Ketanat on the Haftarot of Bein Hametzarim. First Edition. Amsterdam, 1789

Mincha Ketana, commentary on 3 Haftarot that are said Bein Hametzarim and on Tehillim 79 by the Maggid Rabbi Chaim ben Rabbi Yissachar Ber [Melamed]. The press of the widow and orphans of Yaakov Proops Katz, Amsterdam. [1789]. First edition. 


[3], 12 leaves. 19 cm. Owner's signatures: "הבחור זעלקלי בן כ"ה אברהם סגל". With an approbation by Rabbi Shaul Av Beis Din of the Ashkenazic community of Amsterdam. With a handwritten comment on one of the pages. In the introduction to the book, the author writes that he is suffering from poverty and has to marry off his daughter, stating that the purchasers of the book are taking part in the Mitzvah of Hachnasat Kalah. 


Rabbi Chaim ben Rabbi Yissachar Ber Melamed (passed away in 1815) of Amsterdam, Rav and Darshan who, in his youth, authored the Tehillat Hashem commentary on Tehillim and Sefer Mincha Ketana. 


Original binding, blemished and detached. Stains. Fair-good condition.
