Historical letter from office of the 'Kenessia HaGedolah' of Agudat Yisrael, Vienna, 1923. To Rabbi Mendel Deutch in Jerusalem. With hand written signature of Wold Popenheim and Rabbi Pinchas Kohen, from the heads of Agudat Yisrael abroad.

Reference from the heads of Agudat Yisrael in Vienna to HaRav Deutch and the administration of Agudah in Jerusalem, to deny press publication and request their help:

"Answer to the letter sent to Rav Popenheim about your calling in the 'Yid' about inviting the Moetzes Gedolai HaTorah to the President of the office of HaRabanut to come to the Kenessia etc., I am hereby answering in the name of HaRav Popenheim and in the name of Center of Agudah there is no shred of truth לא דובים ולא יער  that has been written in the newspaper by a private person even if he is a Rav we are not responsible for this. The Moetzes Gedolai HaTorah are only from the Rabbanim who are devoted to Agudah according to our agendas… we follow the ways that the Great Sages of the Torah enlightened us and you stand with us on guard to help us in our honorable work because we hope that through the Kenesiah HaGedolah who join all leaders together so we can shower our great aspirations to strengthen the Traditional Judaism and G-d shall bring  peace and blessing on our nation and our land... Please give over our words to our members the rabbanim administrators of our Agudah in Jerusalem the Holy City".
