Signatue of the Gaon Rabbi Eiezer Zusman Sofer ab"d Paks, on the cover page, in addition to other hand written signature, may be the hand written signature of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yermiya Lev ab"d Uhel from the great Gedolim of Hungary.

HaGAon HaKokosh Rabbi Eliezer Zusman Sofer [1830-1902] famous Rav of Paks, son of Rabbi Mordechai Efrayim Fischel Sofer, from the loyal household of the 'Chasam Sofer'. At the young age he was orphaned from his parents, and went to live in Presburg under the supervision of his Rabbi the 'Kesav Sofer'. From him he procured most of his wisdom until he was recognized as one of the great Gedolim of the generation.
He served as Rav of many very important communities: Hollosh, Maasha, Paks, and more. Authored many sefarim: 'Yalkut Eliezer' (1871), 'Meleah Ketoret' (1888), 'Damesek Eliezer' (1872), 'Sefer HaMakne' (1880), and 'Eit Sofer (1884).

Cover detached and worn, stained, some moth holes, fair – good condition.
