"I don't understand the Admo"rim that are quiet about the religious persecutions in Israel". Polemic Letter in Hashkafa, in which Rabbi Shalom Shulem Moskowitz Admo"r of Shatz - Londn, expresses his mind about the matters of religion and about the State of Israel. London 1940.
Very long and rare Polemic Letter, hand written and signed by the Adm"or, who was famous for his righteousness, Rabbi Shalom of Shatz  (Suczawa) sent to his brother-in-law, the Admo"r Rabbi Avraham Abish Kanner of Tchechov-Haifa.

At the beginning of his words he reveals and exposes from his private world. He reveals that he goes far and removes himself from controversies about inheritances: "When my father ... passed away, I wrote that I give everything up, Don’t' assume that I was so rich, because my livelihood was very tight. But I cannot tolerate arguments about inheritance, which causes separation between brothers, Causes hatred and jealousy r"l for ever. Later in the fascinating letter, the Rabbi tells about his refusal to come live in Israel: "Believe me that here in the area of Northern London where we are living, it is much easier to raise children with fear of heaven than in Tel Aviv and Haifa". The Rabbi adds and relates about the living conditions of the chassidim in London: "Here thank to G-d there are many girls who don’t want to take a groom without a beard, and they want only a Ben-Torah"...
On the reverse side of the letter, the Rabbi criticizes and outlines why the new government in Israel persecutes the religious Jews. "We can see their intentions to tear apart the Holy Shabbat publicly... I don’t understand all of you Admo"rim and Rabbanim … why do you ignore? If I would be in Israel now I would make an uproar in all of Israel ...  gather and make great protests … with loud screaming ... and this will work on them, because they are fearful that the world should know there deeds, since this will destroy their collection of funds." among his words the Admo"r criticize sharply several other behaviors: "I cannot tolerate religious only from the outside ... the Holy Torah wants the internal".

Following he adds lines from his righteous Rebbetzin and children.

Admo"r Rabbi Shalom Moskowitz of Shatz [1878-1958], was a descendant of the Maggid of Zolotchov, from the great Admorim after the Holocaust, was proficient in kabbala and halacha. In his youth he received semicha from the Maharsham of Berezhany, who praised him extensively. In 1927 he moved to London where he was known as the "Admor of Shatz" and was admired by all.
He was famous for his powerful prayers. He was considered a Chassid of
Belz even though he criticized alot the issues of the  State of Israeli. In his will, he promised to arouse Divine mercy for anybody who prayed at his grave and lights two candles for him, and takes upon himself to strengthen Mitzvah observance or Torah learning [This promise written in three languages hangs by his grave according to his will.]. His grave became a pilgrimage site, primarily on Fridays. Some of his Torah thoughts were printed in the 'Da'at Shalom' series.

Air mail letter, 3 pages, 2 hand written and signed by his cursive signature, on page 3 writes his son R' Yisrael Yaakov and Rebbetzin Liba Chana. Very good condition.
