This volume with 48 color plates is P. G. Bueker's Onze Vogels. The work was published circa 1902 in Zutphen, Netherlands by W.J. Thieme & Cie.

This work is an adaptation of C. G. Friedrich's work of 1891 entitled Naturgeschichte der Deutschen Vogel. The illustrations are bound with transparent endpaper with Dutch and Latin names of the bird species. There are 48 color plates and 648 pages + index and the volume is bound in 3/4 leather with 4 raised bands.

Dr. Peter Gijsbrecht Buekers (1849-1930) was a Dutch physics and biology teacher. He published numerous articles and books. He followed and promoted the ideas of Professor Hugo de Vries mutation theory.

The work is in very good condition overall. There is a slight bump at the right edge center pages of the work. There is some scuffing to the binding. There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age. Please review the image carefully for condition and contact us with any questions.
