Our Fall Great Estates Curated Auction includes more than 90 lots of furniture, art, watches, glass, and more. The selection of furniture features mid-century modern and designer pieces, including Tommy Parzinger, Renzo Rutili, Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, Robert Kuo and Phillip Lloyd Powell. Sadamasa Motonaga Gouache on Panel Abstract
Sadamasa Motonaga (Japan, 1922-2011). Gouache on panel, mounted on wood panel, abstract. Signed lower right S. Motonaga. Panel 10 3/4" x 9 1/2" (with board 13 3/8" x 12 1/8"). Some discoloration visible on panel along right side and upper right corner, minor discoloration throughout, indentation to panel center left, scratches visible in red and purple sections, minor losses to red and purple along lower edge, minor losses to silver color on border and at corners; fraying to cloth on board.
From the estate of Maurice Binder. Born in 1918, Maurice Binder was an American film title designer, best known for his work on 14 James Bond films, including Dr. No. He died in 1991 at the age of 72.
