80, 80-81 leaves. 36 cm.

The title page bears two stamps of Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin along  from his term as rabbi of Piotrkow and one from Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin. Rabbi Meir Shapiro transferred many books from his private library to that of the yeshiva. Lengthy gloss on the back of the last page, apparently in his hand.

Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin (1887-1933) was one of the most prominent rabbis in Poland. He was a member of the Polish Sejm. He founded Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin and instituted the Daf Yomi learning program.

Simple binding. Minimal aging stains. Fine condition.
