Historic Letter from the Admo"r the Imrei Emet of Gur, Encouraging Holocaust Survivors
Printed leaf - historic letter from the Admo"r Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Alter, author of Imrei Emet of Gur, 1946.
The letter is addressed to "Our Jewish brethren, refugees of the sword, wherever they may be." In it, the Admo"r writes words of encouragement and faith from the depths of his heart, to support the tens of thousands of broken-hearted survivors who lost their loved ones in the horrific war.
The Admo"r concludes his touching letter with a blessing: "And may we be consoled by the Master of Consolations, and may you be privileged to ascend soon to the Holy Land when Hashem brings the complete redemption and Mashiach."
The Admo"r's signature is printed (in lithograph) at the end of the letter. Printed on the back of the letter: "Put up in the Beit HaChassidim."
The fiery sword also drew near to the Rebbe's own family; he lost many of his relatives and members of his own household.
Precious and exciting historic letter.
