[44] pages handwritten and signed by the renowned gaon Rabbi Ephraim Greenblatt, author of Rivevot Ephraim, primary disciple of the leader of American Jewry, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, and himself one of the most prominent halachic poskim in the United States (and at the end of his life, in Jerusalem). He is renowned for his many responsa with rabbinic leaders, some of which are included in this lot. These include in-depth scholarly responsa. [New York, 1970s]
This collection includes dozens of halachic responsa sent to leading poskim and rabbinic instructors - Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch - ra'ava"d of the Edah HaChareidit; Rabbi Yehoshua Yeshayah Neuwirth, author of Shemirath Shabbath; Rabbi Eliezer Yehudah Waldenberg: Rabbi Srayah Dvilinsky; Rabbi Binyamin Silber; Rabbi Peretz Steinberg, Rabbi Chaim Rosen (who passed away shortly after); Rabbi Eliezer Koppel and more.
We will highlight one particularly interesting sermon regarding prostration at grave sites of tzaddikim: "It has recently come up that we have had the merit of visiting sacred sites ... there are many who specifically pray at the grave sites of tzaddikim- why do they not go to the graves of the Tana'aim? Apparently a person goes where he feels close, where he feels he can ask for more.
