Sha'agat Aryeh. Frankfurt am Oder, 1756. First Edition

Sha'agat Aryeh responsa by Rabbi Aryeh Leib b"r Asher of Metz [Ginzberg], printed in his lifetime, and by whose title he is known as the Ba'al HaSha'agat Aryeh.

The author first printed the book with 103 simanim (of 108) with errata on the last leaf. A copy with only 103 simanim was in Rabbi Akiva Eiger's possession when he mentioned siman 103 as "the final responsum." In this copy here, as in the original copies, the leaves at the end that were added after the printing are not present.

The reason for this is, as the author writes in his preface, that due to the expense, he did not print the entire work. He later printed another five simanim and added them to the book. For more on this, refer to Sefer Sha'agat Aryeh published by the Sha'ar HaMishpat Institute, p. 20, note 35.
