Important Historic Collection: [30] Prayer Leaves from Prominent European Communities
Prayer texts occupy an important place in the customs of various Jewish communities - each community's text was not identical to the text of its neighboring community. There are certain additions in machzorim relevant only to specific communities. [These passages are marked "Some communities recite the following" or "Some communities skip the following."] Hymns are also occasionally printed on special prayer leaves distributed in the synagogues during the prayer services themselves. This is an important collection of [30] prayer leaves dealing with prayer texts (some also with prayer times) of various prominent communities in Europe. 1868-1939.

* Yom Kippur prayer service, 1928. Beit Tefillat Jeshurun synagogue in Frankfurt am Main.
* Yom Kippur prayer service, 1871. Danzig.
* Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur prayer services for the years 1900, 1867, 1875, 1901, 1903, 1914, 1916, 1917, 1919, 1920, 1921, 1922, 1923, 1925, 1934, 1926 in Prague.
All of these indicate that shofar-blowing should not commence until the shofar has been blown in the Altneu synagogue.

Prayer service for Yom Kippur for the years: 1935, 1938 (apparently the last Yom Kippur in this synagogue, just before the Holocaust) in the Schiffshul in Vienna.

Various sizes. Overall fine condition.
