CASED WWII GERMAN MOTHER'S CROSS IN GOLD
Cased WWII German Mother Cross (Mutterkreuz) in gold with ribbon. The 1st class award for German mothers with eight or more children, is in the form of a cross in blue enamel with a white enamel border, both outlined in gold, with a metal roundel decorated in the center with a swastika with the words 'DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER' (To the German mother). The cross is engraved on the back '16. December 1938' with a facsimile signature of Adolf Hitler. It comes with the original blue and white ribbon.
