DURAS MARGUERITE: (1914-1996) French Novelist and Playwright. A good A.L.S., M. Duras, one page, 4to, n.p., 17th February 1978, to the editor of a cinema magazine, in French. Duras acknowledges receipt of her correspondent´s letter and states in part `..I do agree. I have just spoken with Marie-Claire Ropars, have told her, and I confirm this to you. She can add to the technical analyse of the 2 films, of the diptych, the one of the preceding one La Femme du Gange. I do also agree.´ Very small overall age wear with trace of former staple to the upper left corner, otherwise G Marie-Claire Ropars (1936-2007) French Literature and Cinema aesthetic theorist. La Femme du Gange (1974) is a French film by Marguerite Duras.
